About Me

Hi, my name is Lore Green and I set-up this blog to share the beauty and lifestyle hints and tips I have learnt from living with three chronic illnesses. I have Lupus, Fibromyalgia and Sjogren’s Syndrome and together they make up an invisible disability.

Chronic illness creeps into every curve and corner of your life and can make every day tasks such as brushing your hair and cleansing your face difficult. It can also be brutal to your self-confidence. I hope to share my love of beauty products and show how they can, in some small way, help to alleviate the effects of chronic illness. Hopefully people reading will free to exchange hints and tips whether they have a chronic illness or not.

Despite my limitations I still love many things; fashion, books, sewing, crafts, poetry, writing, politics, comedy, theatre and most of all my fur babies.

The main purpose of this blog is to share and to connect so please feel free to comment on anything or email me.

Thank you. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I’ve been diagnosed about 7 years but probably had it at least 4 years before that. I spent many years without talking to anyone else that had the condition then I started my blog. I hoped to speak to one or more people but have managed to read and message lots of people going through the same or similar things which helps me feel less of a freak. Always happy to chat. X
